FarmVille Pic of the Day: The Art of X'mas Trickery at LisaPerry1990's farm

Like the old song goes, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... in FarmVille. Every designer's trick we've seen over the past few weeks have been used by player LisaPerry1990 to craft her virtual winter wonderland. If you didn't know any better, you would've sworn that the two giant, decorated trees to the south and the east of her farm were actual FarmVille items. But no, both are actually made up of other trees, much like the one we first saw by Brayzdin.

The southern tree is formed by the Ornament Tree II with the Snow & Lights option added on, and a Fairy Godmothergnome as a tree-topper. The western tree looks like a cluster of Snowflake II trees and some other purple kind that's merged so well, it's hard to tell what it is.

To the west of the farm, you've got the Christmas tableau card trick ripped straight out of Faustino's, who had made our Pic of the Day before Zynga officially chose it for their Farm of the Week. Finally, a simple, but epic hay bale caption crosses the upper right diagonal of LisaPerry1990's farm with a peppermint-flavored, "MERRY CHRISTMAS". While Faustino's combines ideas and techniques from Brayzdin's fantastical Christmas wonderland and Hieloiceberg's greeting card holographic projection farm to create something equally original, LisaPerry1990 has created a visual buffet with a design smorgasbord.
