FarmVille Winter Holiday Items: Nutcracker Tree, Toy Soldier Donkey and more

Note: As of this writing, some of the items, like the avatar costumes and trees may not work correctly in your game. We expect Zynga to fix this ASAP.

As the holiday draw closer in both the real world and in FarmVille, it's only appropriate that we see the game's holiday spirit continue to expand with new items being released in the game's Winter Holiday item theme. There are new trees, animals and more available to purchase in the store, along with a new bundle option that will let you purchase all of tonight's new items at a discounted price. As usual, we're here with a look at these newly released items, so let's get started.

Trees

Nutcracker Tree - 8 Farm Cash
Giant Nutcracker Tree - 14 Farm Cash
Holiday Candle Tree - 6 Farm Cash
Giant Holiday Candle Tree - 12 Farm Cash

Sticking with tradition here, there's no need to purchase the Giant version of either of these trees, as you're almost guaranteed to receive both of them from Mystery Seedlings at some point in the future (that is, if you routinely collect these seedlings from neighbors and then actually grow them).

Animals

Toy Soldier Donkey - 14 Farm Cash
Sugar Plum Fairy Horse - 26 Farm Cash
Big Toy Soldier Donkey - 14 Farm Cash
Poinsettia Boar - 16 Farm Cash
White Arabian Horse - 3.5 million coins
Sugar Plum Fairy Duck - 18 Farm Cash

As you might have guessed, the Poinsettia Boar introduces this new flower pattern to the pig breeding feature in the game. If you want the Ram equivalent, you'll need to try your hand at this week's Mystery Game, as it's one of the available prizes.

As we said before, while you can purchase each of these items one at a time, if you'd like to have them all, you can now purchase a "Limited Items Bundle" from the store for 100 Farm Cash. That's a sale price, down from the original price of 168 Farm Cash. Specifically, we're told that we'll "get all of the limited items that just hit the market at a special price," so if you're in love with these Nutcracker-Ballet themed animals, or the four trees themselves, there's definitely some incentive to buy the items in bulk for a cheaper price. For the record, even if you don't purchase this bundle before the price goes back up to 168 Farm Cash, that price is still a discount over buying each and every one of these items individually.

These items will be available in the game for the next two weeks, and can be placed on multiple farms, including your new Winter Wonderland option. Just remember that since there is no storage transfer option to / from Winter Wonderland as of this writing, if you place an item there, it's "stuck there" for the time being. We'll make sure to let you know if that changes in the future.
