FarmVille Winter Holiday Items: Ornament Horse, Candy Cane Rabbit and more

Updated

With tonight's FarmVille update, we're one step closer to the release of the Winter Wonderland farm in the game (or at least one day closer), but still see a variety of new Winter Holiday items being released in the store for purchase on your current farms. There are new animals, trees and decorations here, so let's get started on our overview of what you can now splurge on in the store.

Trees

Silver Bell Tree - 8 Farm Cash
Golden Bell Tree - 14 Farm Cash

Is it just me, or did Silver and Gold from the 1964 version of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer just pop into your head. You know, this classic? Sorry, maybe I'm just way too into Christmas... Either way, you'll only "need" to purchase the Silver tree here, as the Golden Bell Tree can be earned for free through Mystery Seedlings.

Animals

Ornament Horse - 26 Farm Cash
Candy Cane Rabbit - 12 Farm Cash
Candy Cane Boar - 16 Farm Cash
Black Paint Horse - 3 million coins

As usual, we see a coin animal released here, which is great, but it's expensive and doesn't seem to really have anything to do with Christmas / Winter at first glance. Still, I suppose beggars can't be choosers, so I'll accept the coin-only animal all the same.

Buildings

Holiday Tree House - 15 Farm Cash

Decorations

Ornament Fence - 7,000 coins
Reindeer Globe - 10 Farm Cash

We've seen other snow globes released in the game before, so don't let this one confuse you. It is a new item to the game. The Ornament Fence, too, is a new type of holiday fencing, so feel free to stock up on a few pieces of that if you plan on wanting it when Winter Wonderland releases. Hopefully, we'll be able to immediately transfer items between our farms, so we can have a constant Winter Wonderland / Christmas farm all year round (please Zynga!), but that hasn't been mentioned as of this writing.

All told, these items will be available in the game's store for the next two weeks. Within that time, will we see Winter Wonderland launch in the game? No official release date has been set, but we'll make sure to let you know if we find any evidence pointing to its launch date.

In the meantime, let us know what you think of these Winter Holiday decorations, animals and trees. Will you purchase both trees for your land, so you don't have to wait for the Golden Bell Tree as a Mystery Seedling? Do you have a horse collection that's just calling out for these two offerings? Sound off in the comments.
