CityVille Harvest Festival Timed Goal: Everything you need to know

Thanksgiving has come to CityVille this week with the launch of a new timed goal in the game. This one is called the Harvest Festival, and it asks you to gather some decorations to set the mood, and then place your focus on crops so all of your in-game friends will be able to leave the dinner table stuffed! You'll have only two days to finish these three tasks for the Gold Trophy, so let's take an in-depth look at how you'll do just that.

  • Ask for 10 Harvest Festival Decorations

  • Harvest 50 Cranberry Crops

  • Harvest 20 Neighbor Crops



First and foremost, you'll be able to earn the Harvest Festival Decorations by posting a general wall post to your news feed that all of your friends will be able to see. While you're waiting for your friends to send you those Decorations, you can already have your Cranberries (well, perhaps a first batch of them) planted and growing. They take 12 hours to mature, so you won't want to waste any time in starting! In fact, since you can manually start this goal in your city, why not plant the Cranberries (again, perhaps even just a portion of them) before you actually start the goal so you waste even less time?

Finally, you'll need to visit at least four neighbors and harvest five fully grown crops each to finish this last task. If you have a lot of active neighbors, this shouldn't be a problem, but if it is, why not ask some friends if they'll plant some Strawberries since they grow so quickly? Just make sure to thank them afterwards - this is a time for giving thanks, after all.

If you can finish these three steps within the first 48 hours of starting the goal, you'll receive the Gold Trophy, 10,000 coins and the Harvest Festival Table decoration. It offers a 72% bonus payout to surrounding homes and businesses. For finishing within 96 hours, but after 48, you'll receive the Silver Trophy, 5,000 coins and 5 Energy. Finally, if you finish this one at any point after the first 96 hours have passed, you'll receive just 5,000 coins. Good luck!
