FarmVille Lighthouse Cove Mermaid Goals: Everything you need to know

Whether you've finished the Chapter 7 goals in FarmVille's Lighthouse Cove or not, a new set - Chapter 8's Mermaid Goals - are now rolling out to farmers. As usual, you'll be timed to complete these three goals in the main quest series, and will need to plan your actions accordingly throughout this time limit in order to be able to finish these three goals on time (and of course claim your rewards). Here's a guide to doing just that.

Mermaid Tale

  • Get 3 Mermaid Tales

  • Harvest Lighthouse Cove

  • Harvest 100 Cove Cranberries


The Mermaid Tales are books that you'll need to ask your friends to send you. Meanwhile, the Lighthouse Cove comes up for harvest once per day, and Cove Cranberries take a full day to grow to maturity. For finishing this first goal, you'll receive 100 XP, 2,500 coins and a Giant Pearl for your farm.

Mermaid Tale

  • Get 3 Spyglasses

  • Harvest 110 Chandler Blueberies

  • Harvest 1 Horse Paddock


Chandler Blueberries take eight hours to grow. You'll need to ask your friends for the Spyglasses, and make sure you have at least one horse in a Horse Paddock on your Lighthouse Cove farm so it's ready to harvest when this goal comes around (that happens once per day). Finishing this second goal of three gives you 200 XP, a General Store and 2,500 coins.

A Tall Tail

  • Get 3 Sea Shells

  • Harvest 110 Flowers

  • Make Black Raspberry Wine Twice


Here, it doesn't matter which kind of flower you plant, so feel free to make it one with a shorter growth time to finish this goal as quickly as possible (remember, you're being timed!). Meanwhile, the Black Raspberry Wine is crafted in your Restaurant, and it requires three Raspberry, two White Grape and three Chandler Blueberries for each batch. Finish this goal and you'll receive 300 XP, 2,500 coins and a Mermaid Fountain decoration.
