FarmVille Harvest Hoedown Goals: Everything you need to know

Updated

To go along with the Harvest Hoedown barn that was launched in FarmVille this evening, we now have a set of goals to complete as well. This six-part goal series will see you being rewarded with themed trees, animals and of course decorations, so let's get started. As a note, you'll have 13 days to complete these goals from start to finish, and they may not have appeared on your farm just yet, so don't panic if you don't have access to them!

Groovin'

  • Get 6 Guitars

  • Harvest 200 Spinach

  • Harvest 50 Flowers

Spinach takes 14 hours to harvest. If you plan this one correctly, you could plant a flower with a similar growth time (Bluebells take 12 hours, for instance) so that you can harvest both of these crops at around the same time. Either way, you'll need to ask your friends to send you the guitars, and for finishing this first goal, you'll receive 150 XP, 2,500 coins, a Striped Possum animal and a Bowl of Snacks (a building ingredient for completing or upgrading your Harvest Hoedown).

Prima Donnas

  • Get 6 Fiddles

  • Harvest 200 Blueberries

  • Harvest 1 Striped Possum

The Blueberries take just four hours to grow, so you'll want to make sure to plant these when you know you'll be able to come back to them later (and not before you're going to sleep, as an example). For finishing this goal, you'll receive 200 XP, 2,500 coins, a Fiddler Scarecrow decoration and a Bowl of Punch (another building ingredient for the Harvest Hoedown barn itself).

Pickin' It

  • Get 6 Banjos

  • Harvest 225 Soybeans

  • Harvest 50 Vegetables

Here's one where you're given a freebie, as Soybeans are a vegetable, so you'll just need to wait the full day for Soybeans to be ready to harvest, and then harvest at least 225 of them at once to finish those two tasks off in a single shot. Finishing this incredibly simple goal gives you 200 XP, 2,500 coins, a Speaker Tree and a Bucket of Paint (the third kind of ingredient needed to build/upgrade your Harvest Hoedown).

Keepin' Time

  • Get 6 Stand Up Basses

  • Harvest 250 Pumpkins

  • Harvest the Speaker Tree

Pumpkins take eight hours to harvest. The problem with this particular goal is that it asks you to harvest the Speaker Tree, so unless you want to be stuck on this goal, waiting for the tree to be ready, make sure you have at least one Orchard that's ready to harvest when you reach this goal. If you stick the Speaker Tree in it (and the goal doesn't reject you as in the past), you should receive the point. If not, pull it back out and wait for it to mature the long way. Finishing this goal gives you 250 XP, 2,500 coins, a Bass Bear (a bear playing stand up bass, what else?) and a Bowl of Snacks.

Toe Tappin'

  • Get 6 Mandolins

  • Harvest 250 Peppermint

  • Harvest the Striped Possum

Peppermint takes a full day to grow, so you might want to instantly plant some after you harvest the Pumpkin in the goal above to plan ahead (and save time, of course). As for the Striped Possum, so long as you only harvest this one when these goals want you to, it should be ready for you immediately as well. For finishing this goal, you'll receive 350 XP, 2,500 coins, a Mandolin Gnome and a Bowl of Punch.

Hoedown Time

  • Get 6 Kick Drums

  • Harvest 300 Wheat

  • Harvest the Striped Possum Twice

While you will have to wait a while for the Striped Possum to become ready not once, but twice, by the time you've made it this far (if you've planned your time accordingly), you should have quite a bit of time left on the clock to complete these goals. As for the Wheat, it takes 12 hours to grow. For finishing this last Harvest Hoedown goal, you'll receive 500 XP, 5,000 coins, a One Man Band Duck and a Bucket of Paint.

All things considered, these goals seem relatively easy, since they don't require you to actually upgrade your Harvest Hoedown, but just give you the ingredients for it instead. You shouldn't have a terrible time making your way through these goals at a pretty fast rate, especially if you follow the tips in our guide and plan ahead. Good luck!
