The Sims Social is big on Japan

The Sims Social on Facebook just wrapped up its Halloween festivities and just when we were starting to miss all of the game's spooky new missions -- the game suddenly shifts gears and focuses on Japan. Yep, it's Japan week in The Sims Social and that means a load of new items in the store and a new "Big Trouble in Littlehaven" mission, which, when you complete it, you will be rewarded with a virtual

Maneki Neko, aka Lucky Cat (check back for a walkthrough soon).



Hop over to visit Bella house to see all of the Japanese items displayed in an ever-so-attractive fashion. I'm not personally big on Japanese style items for the home, but the one must-have item for me is this stuffed Kappa monster, pictured below, for 450 Social Points. Now if you'll 'scuze me -- I gotta get busy socializing so I can add this green guy to my virtual plushie collection ASAP.
