CityVille Exotic Pet Show Timed Goal: Everything you need to know

Updated

While we've already seen a Timed Goal released in CityVille surrounding Ruth and her love of animals and pet shows (in fact, the goal was called just "Pet Show"), we've now seen another themed Timed Goal release in this same setting. This Pet Show is an exotic one, coming in the new Timed Goal "Exotic Pet Show," but it still comes with the same setup you've encountered before.

For starters, you can manually start this goal in your game at any point, depending on when you're ready to tackle its time limit. From there, you'll need to complete three tasks:

  • Collect from Sailboat Hotel 2 Times

  • Upgrade 12 Friends to VIP status in your Hotel

  • Ask for 12 Pet Show Programs

First and foremost, the Pet Show Programs are earned by posting a general news item to your wall asking all of your friends to help you at once. Meanwhile, the Sailboat Hotel requires 600 Goods each time you wish to supply it. You'll then need to wait for those 600 Goods to be consumed before being able to collect your profits, so it would be best to have profits ready and waiting for you before you start this goal at all. Finally, we're not told if we can upgrade friends to VIP within more than one kind of hotel (but, then again, we aren't told that we can't), so feel free to try it in any hotel that you own.

If you can finish these three tasks within 48 hours - two days - you'll receive the Gold Trophy, 10,000 coins, 3,000 Goods and the Dog Trainer's Mansion. This home offers you 324 coins in rent every four hours, and gives you a population ranging from 1,100 to 2,180 citizens. The Gold Trophy rank is the only one that offers you this home, so keep that in mind when you plan your attack.

If you fail to complete the goal within the first 48 hours, but still finish in under 96 hours, you'll receive 5,000 coins and 1,500 Goods. Finally, if you complete it at any point after the first 96 hours, you'll receive just the Bronze Trophy and 1,500 Goods.

There doesn't look to be a time limit for when you're allowed to start this goal, or for when it will leave the game as a whole, but we'll make sure to let you know if one pops up on our radar.

What do you think of this newest Timed Goal? Do you appreciate having two days for the Gold Trophy, instead of the "normal" time frame of just 24 hours? Sound off in the comments.
