House of the Day: Quaid's Wide-Angle on 'Big Sky Country'

Updated

Dennis Quaid seems to be on a mission to downsize his real estate portfolio. Already in the process of selling his Pacific Palisades equestrian estate, the film star has now listed his Paradise Valley ranch to the tune of $14 million.

And it's a "Big Sky Country" beauty. The 418-acre spread, located in Emigrant, Mont., spans two miles of river that's great for fishing, while the sprawling pastures of the property (along with acreage of adjoining Gallatin National Forest) provide ample space for horseback riding. The ranch boasts a 5,315-square-foot main house, four guesthouses and a ranch manager's house, in addition to its equestrian facilities.
