House of the Day: Large, Lofty Spread Near Utah's Slopes

Updated

About an hour outside of Salt Lake City sits this massive $49.5 million mansion constructed of reclaimed logs from nearby Yellowstone Park. The residence, located in Park City, Utah, commands 60 acres of Upper Deer Valley, an area with close access to Deer Valley Resort, a top-rated skiing facility that offers six mountains and remains one of the only ski areas that still doesn't allow snowboarders to hit its slopes.

With all their knots and gnarls, worn logs encase and embellish 12 bedrooms, two bunk bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, 6- and 22-car garages, children playrooms and multiple great rooms along with an indoor pool, fitness center and library.
