The citizens of CityVille aren't a tech savvy people, just building their first bridge and all. Luckily for that, Best Buy will soon open its doors of geekdom to Zynga's digital city as an in-game Business along with other limited edition decorations. The two companies announced recently that, starting today through Sept. 6, players can build their very own Best Buy in CityVille.

Like any old Business, players can then collect from it to find five special Collection items, and each time they tap the Best Buy, little Geek Squad cars are said to appear and speed around your city. You will have to collect a smartphone, DSLR camera, refrigerator, TV and a Deal of the Day badge to complete the Best Buy Collection, which will reward players with a decoration.

You will instantly receive a free Best Buy Wi-Fi Robot decoration in your Inventory. Then, if players complete the Best Buy Goal in CityVille--which consists of simply placing the Best Buy Business--they'll unlock another limited edition item called Best Buy More Surprises.

"We're always looking for ways to make our games more realistic and personal for our players," said Ryan Linton, senior director of business development at Zynga in a release. "This integration with Best Buy, coupled with roaming Geek Squad vehicles, creates a refreshing surprise for CityVille players."

If you don't complete the Best Buy Collection by Sept. 6, you unfortunately won't score the mystery item. But don't worry, it looks as if Best Buy will come back just in time for the holidays this Nov. 6 with another event. And yes, it should be another week-long extravaganza filled with all sorts of geekery.
