House of the Day: For Some Serious Viewing ...

Updated

It's hard to say which view is better, the one out the full-wall glass wall or what happens when the screen comes down turning it into a home theater magnifico. It is just so Hollywood!

While not a new listing, the price of this six-bedroom Hollywood Hills home is starting to look way more attractive at $9.85 million. It had been whistling at the treetops at $11.9 million.

Known as the Villa Allegra, the home has marble and limestone imported from Italy, hand-crafted ceilings, a ballroom, an elevator and two swimming pools -- one infinity pool and the other an indoor-
outdoor pool.

The master suite has disappearing glass doors that lead to one of the pools and there are two gourmet kitchens, one located on an outdoor terrace. The home is accessed down a long, private driveway that leads to an eight-car motor court.

But of the many top-of-the-line features present, we'd award this house the prize for best-home-theater-we've seen-in-a-long-while. Check out the photos.
