CityVille Sailboat Hotel: Everything you need to know, Wonders revealed

Arguably the most awaited feature in all of CityVille has arrived ... almost. The Eiffel Tower, the first Wonder in the game, has revealed itself in the next CityVille Goal, titled "Room and Starboard." The requirements for this Goal are pretty steep. And this is just the first of three steps toward unlocking the Eiffel Tower, which will provide triple payout bonuses to Hotels, double payouts to Restaurants and 25 percent more payout to surrounding Businesses.

If you're Level 30 or above, the following Goal will appear, requiring you to place the Sailboat Hotel, an advanced Hotel, on your land. The Hotel will, of course, appear unfinished, but you must click on it to continue. Then, a building upgrade window will appear, displaying the three things you must do to complete your Sailboat Hotel:

  • Gather parts for your Hotel

  • Upgrade one Summer Business to Level 2

  • Master one Summer Crop to Level 2

To gather parts for your Hotel, just use the "Ask for Parts" button on the upgrade screen. The Businesses that qualify for upgrades are the Ice Cream Parlor, the Sunglasses Store and the Bike Shop. Just click on the Business when it doesn't need to be collected from, and choose "Upgrade" to access the upgrade window and find out more. The Summer Crops that qualify are Corn, Eggplant and Watermelon, so just plant and harvest the hell out of one of them to get this done and over with.

Zynga also points out that you might need to refresh your game after upgrading the Business to Level 2 for it to take effect. Also, Crop Mastery has been reduced to help with this Goal. Once you complete those three tasks, your Sailboat Hotel will be complete. It operates just like your other Hotel, but sports a higher payout and requires more Goods to function. You've made the first step to the greatness of Wonders, congratulations? I was kind of hoping for something more ... dynamic myself.
