FarmVille Landscapes give farms fresh look for some fresh Farm Cash

Ah, the price of beauty. Zynga has given FarmVille a bit of a makeover--take a look for yourself--and has released a few new items to the game through the Market.

Though the items, known as Landscapes or Themes, might not be considered "items," but rather cosmetic upgrades. For a whopping 50 Farm Cash, or just under $10, players can transform the area surrounding their farms into a number of new landscapes.

Let me repeat that: For about nine bucks, these Horizons will change the look around your farm ... and do diddly squat to your actual farm functionally. The new landscapes include Beach, Desert, Fall, Green and Snow themes.

But if you zoom way out from your FarmVille game right now, you'll notice that Zynga has already improved the look of your farm's outskirts both Home and on the English Countryside. At that point, you may as well save up for Platinum Mastery Statue.

If you're a completion freak looking to add the finishing touches to your Beach farm, then by all means go for it. For those folks who would rather spend their hard-earned cash on, say, something useful like more Fuel--more power to ya.
