House of the Day: Bay Views Don't Get Much Better

When Tony Bennett left his heart in San Francisco, what he really meant to say was that he stashed it in this 10,000-square-foot home on the island of Belvedere, just across from Sausalito and north of the city.

The waterfront home, now on the market at $27.5 million, is on the Western-most promontory of Belvedere Island with the San Francisco Bay directly below it. It has unobstructed views that include Mount Tamalpais, the Golden Gate Bridge and the entire San Francisco skyline -- that are definitely worth crooning over.
