Brian Wilson's Former House, Full of Good Vibrations

The former home of Beach Boy Brian Wilson, has been listed for sale at $1.49 million. While it's not on the beaches of Kokomo, the house just outside of Chicago, in St. Charles, Ill., does have a claim to some musical history: Wilson wrote and recorded most of his 1998 "Imagination" album here. He even built a custom underground music studio so that he could have "Fun, Fun, Fun" without annoying the neighbors.

The house has 6,527 square feet, which includes nine fireplaces, five bedrooms and six baths, and two master suites. There is custom cherrywood cabinetry and a grand foyer with sweeping staircase. The home has landscaped gardens and a pool.
