'Entourage' House Sold for $4.2 Million
The gated Tuscan Villa that was the TV home for Vincent Chase and the boys on Season 7 of the hit HBO show "Entourage" has been sold for $4.2 million, according to public records. The 9,010-square-foot house -- which first came on the market in 2010 at $5.75 million before taking a haircut to $4.85 million -- has seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms and seven fireplaces, most of which were never seen on TV. The show launched its eighth and final season last week.
The most recognizable feature of the house for viewers may be the driveway and motor court, which features a massive stone fountain that Turtle spent a lot of time driving around.
Truth is, this really is a palace fit for a Hollywood king -- and the buyer is believed to be an executive producer of all those ubiquitous "CSI" shows, so it feels like karma at work. The finishing work is incomparable and we especially love the study with hand-crafted bookcases (we always pegged E as the reader in the group) and a fireplace detailed with marble and wood. Lots of Venetian plaster, 22-foot exposed truss beams in the living room, and a kitchen that hopefully came with Drama's special omelet recipe.
There are walnut floors in the public rooms, and extensive use of tumbled and polished marble and limestone in the bathrooms. The Smart Home technology includes an advanced security system pre-wired for cameras and DVR surveillance, and a media room wired for 7.1 Surround Sound. The master suite has an exercise room and secluded outdoor whirlpool bath.
The property has a detached guest Casita, a mosaic-tiled pool, spa and waterfall, plus there's room for a tennis court. Apparently, the boys didn't play so no need to put one in, but perhaps the new owner will.
