Malibu Home of 'Baywatch' Star and 'Dancing' Host Listed
Hollywood couple Brooke Burke -- the co-host for the popular "Dancing With the Stars" show -- and David Charvet -- the hunky guy on "Baywatch" who you watched when Pamela Anderson wasn't around to look at -- have listed their Malibu home for $12.5 million. Actually, according to the title, it's his house. The couple has two children together.
Charvet was born in France, and this home reflects it. The Country French-style house is just as beautiful as its occupants. There are five bedrooms in 6,770-square feet and there is an old stone driveway with an 18th century fountain, a sculpture courtyard and gas lamps that have that old world feel.
The home features antique hand-plastered walls, hand-carved limestone and walnut flooring, imported French fireplaces, hand-sculpted doors, and custom ceiling details. There is a screening room, a 4,000-bottle wine cellar with Chateau Margaux barrels inset in the wall, a wood-paneled office and a large bonus room. There is also a room described as a "woman's off-season closet," which sounds pretty darn fabulous to me.
The grounds are manicured and include large lawns, a 200-bush rose garden, a freshwater pool and romantic cabana area. The property is also available for summer lease at $100,000 or long-term lease at $75,000 a month.
Burke was the co-host of the 2010 "Dancing With the Stars" show. After "Baywatch," Charvet appeared in "Melrose Place" and more recently the action/adventure feature film "Prisoners of the Sun." He also has released three successful pop rock albums as part of a five-album deal with the Universal Music Group. Three of his singles have charted in the Top 10.
Susan Monus of Coldwell Banker, Malibu West, has the listing, according to the MLS.
