FarmVille: Dress your avatar (and farm) up for the 4th of July with top hats, pinwheels and more

Ready to play dress-up with your FarmVille avatar? No, we haven't jumped into a six-year-old's tea party (although tea is a great summer drink); rather, we've been given a few new avatar clothing choices to celebrate the Fourth of July on our farms. These three options are the American Top Hat [pictured], the American Cap and the American Ribbon. The Top Hat costs just 50,000 coins (allowing everyone to get in on the patriotic fun without spending real world cash), while the American Cap and American Ribbon cost 3 and 1 Farm Cash each, respectively.

In addition, there are a few new decorative items available in the July 4th theme. The Summer Pinwheel and Summer Pinwheel II items go for 5,000 coins and 1,000 coins each (again, respectively), while the Bald Eagle decorative bird costs 18 Farm Cash. Finally, an American Gnome holds animated sparklers, and can be added to your gnome collection (or just your Fourth of July celebration) for 15 Farm Cash.

For these Pinwheels, it should be noted that while both items animate (as though the pinwheels are spinning in the wind), the Pinwheel II item is much smaller in scale, even though there are three individual pinwheels included. If you're looking for a larger item to make an equally large statement, you'll either have to purchase these in bulk, or stick with the standard Pinwheel option.

Whatever your choice, you'll have just two weeks to make it, as these items will disappear from the store after that time.
