Chef Paul Kahan Slips Past Chicago Airport Security With Chef Knives
Kahan, a partner is such classy Chicago establishments as Blackbird, avec, and The Publican, forgot he was carrying around four massive knives - presumably because that is normal chef behavior - until after he'd been patted down by airport security. Startled by his discovery, he issued a thoughtful tweet.
This just after airport screeners in Newark were caught racially profiling Mexicans and Dominicans. Maybe the officers were to busy patting down babies to notice a grown man who happened to be armed to the teeth. Someone really needs to start sitting in on TSA training sessions. This getting ridiculous.
Sorry, that wasn't quite right. This has gotten ridiculous.
