Sylvester Stallone Eager to Sell Lakefront Retreat

Action actor Sylvester Stallone has listed his Los Angeles-area Lake Sherwood retreat for $4,495,000. And according to the listing, he's "very motivated!" He purchased this property in 2008 for $4.85 million and he'd probably like to sell it before area prices drop any more.

We suspect that if he gets his asking price, he'll do another little victory dance on the "Rocky Steps" at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

The 3,600-square-foot main house is set on about 1.75 acres on Lake Sherwood, a country club-like gated community about 20 miles north of the city. Stallone's estate sits on about 500 feet of waterfront and includes a boat house, guest quarters and caretakers' home. The main house has three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
