House of the Day: Heaven in Paradise Valley for $8.75M

There are some things in real estate that are just head-scratchers. Take the case of this 18,416-square-foot knockout known as the Cottontail Run Estate, located in the Arizona foothills just outside Phoenix. It's been on the market for about two years and is now listed at $8,750,000.

Put this house in Southern California and the price would double and we'd likely have a bidding war. Now I get that Arizona has fallen off many people's list of well-behaving states, but politics and crazed gunmen aside, there are so many outstanding features about this home that it's hard to know where to drool first.
