Producer Brian Grazer Lists Malibu Colony Home at $19.5M

Brian Grazer, one of Hollywood's biggest name producers -- and one of its most prolific -- has listed his 6,067-square-foot Malibu Colony beachfront home for sale at $19.5 million.

Grazer's property sits behind the guard gates on an exclusive stretch of Malibu oceanfront. The Mediterranean-style home, which is built on an oversize lot (which makes it one of the nicest Colony properties) was built in 1995 and has an indoor swimming pool and spa. As far as Colony homes go, it doesn't get much better than this.

Grazer's home has five bedrooms plus two offices and a media room. The master suite has his-and-hers bathrooms and faces the ocean; there is a beach terrace as well. The beach deck houses a gym and built-in barbecue.

The three-story home has high ceilings, hardwood floors, and French doors that open to the beach decks. Grazer is seen frequently riding his bicycle around Malibu, which has served primarily as his weekend retreat. Showings are to pre-qualified buyers only, and will only be held during the week, according to the Multiple Listing Service.

Grazer has been a Hollywood force to be reckoned with for more than 25 years. Over the years, his films and TV shows have been nominated for 52 Oscars and 94 Emmys and his movies have generated more than $13.5 billion in worldwide theatrical, music and video grosses.
