Cafe World Picture Perfect Prom Catering Order: Everything you need to know
It's the season for fancy dresses, corsages and tuxes in the real world (well, high schools anyway), and the Cafe World team has decided to take that celebration of all-things Prom and bring it into the game via a new Catering Order. Picture Perfect Prom can now be started by looking inside the Catering Business menu and scrolling to the very end.
This mission only requires you to complete five tasks (while others contain a sixth requirement), but some of the dishes you have to serve are time-consuming to say the least, so don't think you're about to get off easy. You'll need to cook three dishes, along with collecting 45 items via the help of friends. You'll have three days from start to finish to unlock a new recipe, and receive the 3-star rating, so meet us behind the break to find out how to do it.
For the cooking portion of this order, you'll need to cook Steak Dinner (a 16-hour dish) 162 times, Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail (a 30-minute dish) 262 times, and Ice Cream Sundae (a 18-hour dish) 58 dish. With two of these dishes taking more than 12 hours to cook, remember that you can use any of your leftover spices to speed them up. You can also use servings from your Gift Box to count towards your overall total. Luckily, you won't be going at this alone (most likely), as you can bring in up to 16 of your closest friends to help you finish in time.
While you and your friends are cooking, you can work on collecting the two collectable items: 19 Tiaras and 26 Mirror Balls. I'm actually surprised you're not collecting Tiaras and Crowns, if we're going with the king and queen idea of Prom, but hey - Mirror Balls are pretty too. You can earn these items by sending individual requests to your friends to have them help you out.
If you can finish all of these requirements within three days, you'll receive the 3-star rating, 12 Catering Points, 6,300 Cafe Points, 75,000 coins and the Pinwheel Sandwiches recipe. If you finish after the first three days, but still finish within five days of starting, you'll receive 2-stars, 8 Catering Points, 4,500 Cafe Points and 50,000 coins. Finally, if you finish anytime after the first five days, you'll receive just one star, 4 Catering Points, 2,700 Cafe Points and 30,000 coins. Unfortunately, you must finish with the highest rating in order to receive the newest recipe. Remember though, you can start over if you don't receive it the first time.
All told, this catering order seems to be somewhere in the middle in terms of difficulty. Just make sure you bring as many friends as possible in on the job with you, and you'll do just fine.
What do you think of this Catering Order? Since most players are adults (that is, not in high school), should Cafe World have a Prom theme at all? Sound off in the comments.
