Recall Roundup: Candles, Dog Treats, Blue Stilton Cheese and More

Updated

Keeping track of the latest product and food recalls can be a challenge for any consumer, so Consumer Ally has collected them all in one place for you to check each week.

Here is this week's roundup:

  • Meijer Inc. recalled 7,600 Katie Brown Tea Light Candle Sets because the clear plastic candle holder can catch fire, said the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. So far, no one's been hurt, but Meijer did get one report of the holder igniting and melting. The sets were sold in Meijer stores in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio, and from October 2010 through March 2011 for about $8 each. The CPSC lists the model numbers included in the recall. Consumers should return the sets to the store for a refund. Call the company at (800) 927-8699 weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. EST.
