Here is this week's roundup:

  • The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reissued a 2009 recall of Maclarenumbrella strollers because 37 people have been hurt -- including five who had fingertips amputated -- since the original recall. The stroller's hinge mechanism can cut fingers when a consumer is unfolding the stroller, CPSC said. The recall includes all Maclaren strollers sold before November 2009. Consumers should contact Maclaren at (877) 688-2326 weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. EST or by e-mail for a repair kit.

  • Bimbo Bakeries USA Inc. recalled certain lots of Entenmann's bagged Pop'Ems donuts and Bimbo brand 8-pack Donitas sold in Arizona, California, Idaho, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming after receiving consumer complaints about a foul odor from the doughnuts and from consumers suffering from diarrhea and nausea after eating them, said the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The agency lists the UPC codes included in the recall. Consumers should return the doughnuts to the store for a refund. Call the company at (800) 984-0989.
