Charlie Sheen Plunks Down $7 Million on New House

Bad-boy actor Charlie Sheen just closed on a Beverly Hills house belonging to "Black Swan" producer Mike Medavoy, according to sources. The MLS records the home's sale for $6,999,999. It had been listed at $7,495,000 just months after Medavoy bought it in September 2010 for $6 million.

The 9,000-square-foot house should be big enough for Sheen and his family entourage, but it's not known whether he plans on moving in himself or still hopes to install one of his ex-wives and/or baby mamas -- most of whom prefer communicating with him through lawyers -- in the two-story Mediterranean. Oh, to be a fly on that wall come Father's Day.

So even with his "Two and a Half Men" show on hiatus until the tiger-blooded Sheen learns a little self-control, the actor apparently had enough cash lying around to buy the house that put a fast million in Medavoy's pocket. No wonder Justin Bieber thinks Charlie is the most influential man on the planet. And here we were led to believe that young Justin admired Sheen because of his 2 million Twitter followers.

The house purchase certainly is a worthy gesture, if Sheen follows through and gifts it to one of the former women in his crazy world. It sits on a half acre and has an open floor plan, including a grand two-story entry with sweeping staircase. The master suite has views of the city, mountains and canyons, plus French doors opening to a balcony.

There is an outdoor bar and kitchen with a Viking barbecue, a large heated veranda overlooking the pool area and plenty of entertaining space. And best of all, it's close to Charlie.
