Federal investigators are looking at 865,000 General Motors sport utility vehicles after consumer complaints about the fuel gauges malfunctioning. The problem could cause the SUVs to stall.

Included in the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's probe are the 2005 to 2007 model years of Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Buick Rainier and Saab 9-7x brands. Of the 668 complaints, 58 alleged the vehicles stalled. Of those, 43 complaints blamed the stalled out SUVs on the fuel level gauge showing more gas than what was actually in the tank. So far, no one has been hurt, the NHTSA said.
