Keeping track of the latest product and food recalls can be a challenge for any consumer, so Consumer Ally has collected them in one place for you to check each week.

Here is this week's roundup:

  • L&M Cos. Inc. recalled about 1,590 cartons of whole cucumbers sold under the Nature's Delight brand because they could be contaminated with salmonella, said the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Salmonella can cause a potentially life-threatening infection in the very young, frail or elderly as well as diarrhea, nausea and other symptoms in normally healthy people. The cartons were sent to wholesalers in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, New York and Tennessee, and one retailer with distribution centers in Mississippi, Nebraska, Texas and Wyoming. The company said the cucumbers may have been redistributed to other states as well. The cartons have the lot number PL-RID-002990 on them. Consumers can call the company at (919) 981-8003 weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. EST for more information.
