'Law & Order: SVU' Star Selling NYC Apartment

Christopher Meloni of Law & Order: SVU has a buyer under contract on his 1-bedroom, 1-bath New York City apartment that the actor had been using as personal office space since he purchased it last April for $910,000.

"Chris needed a larger work space," listing agent Dan Deutsch of Homestate Properties told AOL Real Estate. Meloni first put the 736-square-footer on the market last fall and then re-listed it for $875,000 in January. It is expected to close in May.

The listing details when he bought the downtown Manhattan unit said the home was worth $1.1 million in 2008, reported Curbed. The previous owners had purchased it for $926,000.

"He loves the views and it is very creative for him. He just felt it was too small," says Deutsch.
