Pacific Trade International recalled about 615,195 tea light sets that were sold nationwide at Target, Super Value, Fred Meyer, Marshalls, Wegmans and other stores because the clear, plastic cups can melt and ignite, creating a fire hazard, said the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

So far, no one has been hurt, CPSC said. Pacific Trade has received one report of the plastic cup melting.

Included in the recall are tea lights sold under the Chesapeake Bay Candle and Modern Light brands. The candles were sold in various colors and in sets or with tea light containers -- some are Halloween-themed votives (see photo at right). Only tea lights that had no lettering imprinted on the bottom of the tea light cup are included in the recall.
