Lebanese authorities are investigating a tape that allegedly shows seven kidnapped tourists pleading for help, a security official tells the Associated Press.

The video, posted Wednesday, appeared on local news site Lebanonfiles.com and YouTube. In it, Estonian tourists are shown asking for help from Lebanese, Saudi, Jordanian and French leaders.

The tourists were bicycling in the eastern Bekaa Valley when they were kidnapped by armed, masked men on March 23.

No word on whether the abductions were politically motivated.
