Jeff Garlin Buys Chicago Condo for $592K
Comedian Jeff Garlin didn't bother to curb his enthusiasm for a 1,500-square-foot condominium on Chicago's Gold Coast when he plunked down $592,000 for the unit on east Elm Street, less than a block from Lake Michigan, Blockshopper reported this past week.
The Chicago native, who is a Second City theater alumnus, is best known for his role as Jeff Greene, Larry David's manager on the HBO show Curb Your Enthusiasm, is also the voice behind Buttercup the Unicorn in the 2010 blockbuster film Toy Story 3 and the Captain in Wall E.
His 3-bedroom, 2-bath walk-up was last listed for $649,500, but had seen six price reductions since its original 2009 list price of $826,000. (See 18 photos in our gallery.)
