Now Hiring: McDonald's Hiring 50,000 New Employees In One Day
It may be time to start brushing up on that cliched phrase, "would you like fries with that?" McDonald's has pledged to hire 50,000 new employees, all in one day: April 19. That will immediately boost the employee headcount by 7 percent, from 650,000 to 700,000.
Most of these jobs will be slightly above the national minimum wage level ($7.25 per hour), averaging about $8.30 per hour, but that will go up in states where the minimum wage is higher.
