The celebrity tribute artists will take to the stage in Epic's 685-seat theater for six 45-minute shows over the span of three days during each seven-day cruise. In addition, an "Unplugged" show will be performed on three additional nights in the Manhattan Room, the Epic's New York-inspired supper club.
The star doubles are part of the "Legends in Concert" performance group, a Las Vegas act that has been in the limelight on the strip for more than 25 years.
"Legends in Concert has been one of the most popular and memorable shows aboard Norwegian Epic because the performers are so dynamic and authentic," says Kevin Sheehan, Norwegian Cruise Line's chief executive officer, in a statement.
"We keep it fresh and exciting by changing the performers every four months," he adds. The new lineup replaces the a group of impersonators that included Janet Jackson, Neil Diamond and Aretha Franklin.
Other entertainment options about the 4,100-passenger Epic include the Blue Man Group, the comedy troupe Second City, and the dueling pianos show "Howl at the Moon."
The new lineup will be joining the Norwegian Epic as it sails seven-day Western Mediterranean cruises from Barcelona, Spain. The ship will call on Florence, Rome and Naples in Italy as well as Palma, Majorca Spain.
