Jimmy Fallon to Host Video Tours of Universal Studios

Fallon will narrate a video for the popular tram tour, which gives visitors a behinds-the-scenes look at sets for movies and television shows stationed on the Universal Studios backlot. The new videos will be screened on Hi Definition monitors located in each tram car, making it appear as though Fallon is a "live" tour guide.
The writers from his show, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" on NBC, helped come up with some of the jokes and songs that are included in the narration.
Popular stops on the tour include the set of the "War of the Worlds" plane crash; the Bates Motel from "Psycho"; and Wisteria Lane from "Desperate Housewives." The tour also includes four acres designed to look like New York streets, as well as Western, European and Mexican streets.
In a statement, Fallon calls the tour "a classic, a really great experience."
"For anyone with any interest in show business, it's all there: the glamour, the glitz, all the hard work that goes into making a movie or a TV show can be experience on the Universal Studios Hollywood Studio Tour. I'm glad to be a part of it," says Fallon.
The new narration done by Fallon will begin in June, replacing Whoopi Goldberg, who started in 2006.
