Outdoor Fireplace Recall: Was Sold at Lowe's

An outdoor wood burning fireplace sold at Lowe's stores has been recalled after 14 reports of the chimney's bronze finish catching fire, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said.

So far, no one has been hurt, but its manufacturer, Sunjoy Industries Group Ltd., has gotten one report of melted house siding, CPSC said.

Included in the recall is the freestanding Garden Treasures Living steel outdoor fireplace with a bronze-finish chimney and slate-colored accents. The wood-burning fireplace is about 24-inches deep, 35-inches wide and 57-inches tall with two glass doors.
