A broccoli recall from Taylor Farms Pacific, a supplier of supermarket chains such as Safeway and Raley's, has expanded to include more salad mixes that include the vegetable, said the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service.

The broccoli had been recalled because a sample tested positive for listeria monocytogenes, though no one has reported getting sick. Listeria can cause a serious infection in the very young or those with weakened immune systems.
