recalled about 400,000 golden tea lights because the candle flames can burn high, creating a fire hazard, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said. One person has already suffered a minor burn.

The CPSC said Pier 1 received four reports of high flames. As many as 370,000 tea lights were sold in the United States and 30,000 in Canada at Pier 1 stores from September 2010 through January 2011 for $2 to $8.
