Eat a tasty meal at your favorite restaurant for between 25%-40% off when you pre-buy part of the meal at Restaurant.com. The way the site works is that you buy a $25 gift certificate for $2 (they normally sell for $10) using coupon code DINE, then redeem it when you go to eat. The card knocks $25 off your tab. Coupon code DINE expires Feb. 28, 2011.

There are a few rules, but none so difficult you won't be able to comply. Restaurants often require you to spend a bit more than the $25 certificate. I've seen minimums from $35 or $50. You can only use one $25 gift certificate per table and alcohol, tax, and tip do not count toward the food minimum.

Restaurant.com works with 18,000 restaurants across the country to offer great discounts. Even in my little city there are more than a dozen places to eat at with this discount. Start by searching for restaurants near you, then purchase a gift certificate for a particular place. Make sure to enter the coupon code as you check out to get the discount.
