Just in time for this month's National Eating Disorders Awareness Week comes a pouring-out of offense taken at Diet Pepsi's launch of a "skinny" can. "Our slim, attractive new can is the perfect complement to today's stylish looks," PepsiCo chirped about the can's launch.

The collective outrage at the soda slinger's worship of waifdom echoed from a nation plagued by body-image issues. "Pepsi should be ashamed for declaring that skinny is to be celebrated," Lynn Grefe, president and CEO of the National Eating Disorders Association, said in a press release.
