Getting More Girls Into Computer Science

Everyone says more girls should enter the field of computer science, but up until now, no one has had any idea of how to attract them to this male-dominated field.

"There's been a huge push throughout North America to try and get girls to go into computing science, but [educators are] having a lot of challenges convincing them," said computing science professor Duane Szafron, whose study found that if you want to get more females interested in computing science, you have to rewrite the program, so to speak.
