Saints Coach Sean Payton Moves to Texas

Sean Payton, the coach of the New Orleans Saints, is not leaving to join the Dallas Cowboys, but he is moving his family from New Orleans to the Dallas enclave of Vaquero, Tex., according to the Times-Picayune.

Sean Payton apparently is leasing the home of former Texas Ranger Mark Teixeira in the affluent suburb of Vaquero, west of Dallas and north of Dallas/Fort Worth Airport. Teixeira's home is listed for $4,550,000, is 8,554 square feet, and has been on the market since 2008; he bought it in 2005 for $4 million.

Word is that Sean and his wife, Beth, ultimately plan to build or buy a home in the area, which he came to know and really like when he was the Cowboys' assistant coach under Bill Parcells a few years ago.
