75,000 Apply for 6,000 Google Jobs -- in One Week

Once word got out last week that Google would be hiring at least 6,000 in 2011, the resumes came pouring in. The high-tech company, based in Mountain View, Calif.,received 75,000 applications last week -- that's 15 percent more than their previous highest week, which was in May 2007.
