The Angry Birds will be the star of an ad during the Super Bowl to air on Fox Network, according to a report by Ad Age. Considering the fact that commercials are the best part of the event second only to the food and beer (What? I'm not a football guy.), this is a perfect fit for Rovio who just announced two new versions of its hit bird-flinging game.

Better yet, the ad spot will feature a code that players can enter into their Angry Birds game for access to a special level. Upon completing it, players will be entered into a contest to win a trip to Rio de Janeiro to see the premiere of Rio, the film to inspire the next Angry Birds, this March 22. Since Rovio and 20th Century Fox are buddies now thanks to a marketing partnership, we can probably expect more where this came from. So, when will the Angry Birds appear on Family Guy?
