Bruce Springsteen drummer Max Weinberg is a Jersey boy at heart, and after open-heart surgery a year ago, folks say he was itching to return to the Land of the Big Hair. So he and his wife, Rebecca, sold their Sunset Strip-area home in Los Angeles for $2.95 million.

Weinberg, 59, played drums for Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band. And when the band broke up, he floundered around a bit before accepting a gig on the Late Night With Conan O'Brien (1993-2009) as the host's band leader and comic foil -- a spot that drew him high critical praise. When Conan moved to the Tonight Show, Weinberg went with him (2009-2010) and simultaneously began a tour with Springsteen. Clearly, he's always had a foot on each coast.
