Starting today in New York City and continuing in Boston and Washington, D.C., throughout the month, the online food order site SeamlessWeb is giving away 350,000 cups of coffee. Hot dang!

Through Feb. 6, 2011, 16 restaurants will on the east side of Midtown NYC will be handing out free coffee. Later in the month, restaurants on the west side of Midtown, the Upper East Side and the Upper West Side and Lower Manhattan will be doling out free coffee. In D.C., the free coffee giveaway is Feb. 7-27, and in Boston the coffee freebie is going on now through Feb. 4, 2011.

The freebie is a stunt to draw attention to SeamlessWeb.com, which facilities ordering food and having it delivered through its website and smartphone app. Get $5 off your first order through Apr. 30, 2011, with coupon code FREECOFFEE. The coupon is for personal, not corporate, accounts and there is a $10 minimum order to use the coupon. Seamless currently works with more than 5,000 restaurants in 27 cities.
