What do you want your potential employer to know about you?

My name is Ken Warner and Las Vegas has been my place of residence since 1987. I am applying for a management position in the building construction industry, and related works.

Prior to living in Las Vegas my experience consisted of 20 years in the industrial and large commercial industry as a supervisor in the Ironworkers Union and four years as a form setter for the carpenters.

Since living in Las Vegas I have worked in positions of either a supervisor or a project manager with multi story office building and multi-family living communities. I have worked with projects ranging from 2 million to 150 million in construction costs.

I work well with all persons involved, beginning with the design team, architects, engineers, trades and owner relations. I stand firm in my beliefs, but I am also a very good listener. I strive to learn as much as possible each day.

I am presently working on my Master certificate in project management that consists of the essentials of project management, maximizing project management, mastering project management and the PMP exam prep.

I thank you for this opportunity and hope to serve your needs and become an essential part of your team.

Objective

Gentlemen,

It is my wish to pursue a position of employment with your team and become an intricate player in the fulfillment of your company and project needs. I am seeking a permanent position where I can use my skills and efforts to grow and proudly remain as a successful and important part of your team. I can promise that you will not regret any time that you invest in me.

I am very ambitious and have many skills that have sided my reputation in the areas of conventional, structural, cast in place and wood frame types of construction and related works. My skills range from conception and design, contract negotiation through the satisfactory completion of projects within their intended schedule and budget.

More specifically, my experience includes monitoring and analyzing the critical path of each project, assuring that there are no gaps or overlaps that could cause a delay of completion and expense to the projects budget. In addition, I have examined all construction techniques being applied and have reviewed the manpower requirements necessary through each phase of construction in order to determine the lead times that would affect the critical path of projects. In conjunction with this, I have maintained an ongoing incremental breakdown of the projects budget and schedule of all the tasks involved. I relate well with owners, architects, engineers and the project work force, always keeping the project objectives in focus, while pursuing the most efficient means of production, quality construction and all profit maximizing measures.

Attached you will find a copy of my resume for your review. If you have any questions or need further information, please do not hesitate to contact me. I thank you for your consideration and look forward to hearing from you.
