Troy Aikman and Wife Split Weeks Before Super Bowl

NFL legend Troy Aikman's wife, Rhonda, likely will not be escorting her husband to many Super Bowl XLV parties in early February; the Dallas-based couple has decided to separate after ten years of marriage.

The couple announced their marriage split publicly a day after after a local blog revealed that Rhonda Aikman had purchased, in her name, a $1.6 million dollar Mediterranean home (pictured below, top) in Preston Hollow, north of Highland Park, on Nov. 5, 2010. The 5,207-square-foot home home has 5 bedrooms, 5.5 half bathrooms, graceful arches and textures of stone and stucco. Aikman has also reportedly moved his offices from downtown Dallas into his Highland Park home.
