Family Dollar Stores

recalled about 67,000 remote-controlled toy tanks after getting five reports of the controllers overheating and melting, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said.

So far, no one has been burned by the toys, but consumers should take the toy away from children, remove the batteries and return the tank to the store for a refund, CPSC said. The toy -- made in China and imported by Family Dollar -- was sold nationwide only at Family Dollar stores from September 2010 through December 2010 for about $5 each.
